Man feared dead next to motorway was having siesta

A Valencian businessman was thought dead and an ambulance was called after several drivers
reported seeing a body next to the A7 motorway just south of Valencia, Spain.
The 53-year-old lawyer from Valencia City felt tired after a long drive to Alicante. He stopped
his car at 4.30 yesteday afternoon, got out of his car, and decided to have a siesta at the side
of the road. “I was exhausted”, the man said. “And I didn’t want to risk having an accident due
to lack of sleep.
The police have not yet decided whether or not the man will be fined.
