I’ve never really liked Brian. I can’t exactly put my finger on the reason why,
but there’s something about him that really makes me feel uncomfortable.
I’ve known him for about 14 years and we’ve been working together for 3 and
a half years now. He joined my company as a sales representative, but now
he’s a marketing manager and he’s doing very well.
His wife’s very nice, Mary. She’s quite good friends with my wife. They go
shopping together. But Brian always makes me feel uncomfortable. He makes
silly jokes all the time that I never find funny and he got a really annoying habit
of forgetting his wallet whenever we go out together or borrowing stuff, like
books and tools, and never giving them back.
If there’s one thing that annoys me more than Brian, it’s his kids. They’re just
like him; selfish, rude, arrogant and self-centred. They say that the apple never
falls far from the tree!
