In the Doghouse
What does it mean to be ‘in the
doghouse’?
Last month I woke up at the usual time and asked my wife if she wanted
some coffee. She said nothing.
I asked her if she was ok and she walked into a different room.
I followed her and tried to give her a kiss but she turned away and gave
me an angry look.
I asked her what was wrong and she threw a towel at me.
It was her birthday and I had forgotten it.
I was in the doghouse!
