Megan
Megan likes to hear funny stories.
She writes them down in her notebook and tries to remember them.
She told her dad a funny story that she had just written. When she
finished, she waited for her dad to laugh.
"Dad, why aren't you laughing? That was a funny story," said Megan.
"Oh, I'm sorry," her dad said. "Sometimes you think something is funny,
but someone else doesn’t think it’s funny."
So, Megan's dad did not laugh at her story.
Megan told the same story to her younger brother, Charlie. He laughed at
the story and thought it was very funny.
Maybe Megan’s story was only funny for young children.
