David's dinner
David sat down for dinner in his
favourite blue chair.
He sat down at the table and looked at his white plate.
He looked at his silver knife, fork and spoon. His mum said, "Pass me
your plate, David." His mum put some fish and chips on his plate with
some green vegetables and gave the plate back to David.
“Eat everything, David. Especially the vegetables”, his dad said.
David didn’t like vegetables very much, but he ate them anyway. He saved
his chips until last. They were the best.
His sister didn’t eat any of her vegetables. She didn’t get any ice-cream
for dessert and she started to cry.
